We believe the outdoors is the greatest classroom. We strive to teach kids valuable life skills while giving them hands-on experiences in nature. From learning the basics of fishing, archery, and boating safety to exploring conservation practices and wildlife education, every activity is built to inspire curiosity, confidence, and respect for the outdoors. Through guided instruction and real-world experiences, children gain both knowledge and memories that last a lifetime—lessons in patience, teamwork, and responsibility that go far beyond the woods or water.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCES
FREE EDUCATION & TAKE-HOME GEAR
What you will receive & experience:
• A rod and reel combo to keep
• A tackle starter kit to take home
• Educational fishing and conservation materials
• Lunch during the event
• A full day of guided instruction and hands-on fishing experience
Event Highlights: The day will feature beginner-friendly fishing instruction, outdoor education, mentorship from experienced volunteers, and plenty of time near the water. Fun trophies will be awarded to recognize participation, achievement, sportsmanship, and memorable moments throughout the day. Rather than focusing solely on competition, the event celebrates learning, confidence, and having fun outdoors.
A Lasting Opportunity: Following the event, a select group of participants may be invited to attend a future Little Legends Outdoors experience for a more personalized, one-on-one outdoor adventure with mentors. These follow-up outings are intended to continue developing each child's skills while creating meaningful relationships and lasting memories in the outdoors.
